JOB SUMMARYWe are looking for an exceptional User Experience Testing manager who is not only technical but also capable of keeping a customer first approach at all times. This position will be reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Services and will be working very closely with the product management, UX/UI design, and development teams.The Senior Manager, User Experience Testing will be responsible for building a small team, processes, and tools to scale the user acceptance testing of the EMPOWER platform as we improve and enhances its capabilities. This role will work closely with the product managers/owners, business/operations, and global technology teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The Senior Manager, User Experience Testing will be responsible for supporting product managers with the triage and validation of production issues as they are reported and resolved. This role is responsible for upward communication/interaction with key leaders throughout the CECs, including the CEC Leadership team.The role also provides expert guidance on test environment strategy, setup, and configuration. Coordinates with product teams and other Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) to collect KPIs and metrics in-line with UAT guidelines. Collaborate with platform teams to ensure tools required for testing conform to standards and help implement new solutions as required. Work with product teams to ensure integration / end-to-end test cases are identified and maintained. Serves as advocate / representative for selected business units to the UAT organization.Experience with SalesForce, or any other CRM platform, is highly desired. He/she also demonstrates strong leadership and relationship skills, a background in information technology, contact center experience, and as department and organizational leadership experience.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequired:

  • 5+ years of IT or operations leadership experience with a blend of technical knowledge and a customer-focused mindset
  • 8+ years experience in software development, test engineering, with expert-level expertise in multiple testing methodologies
  • 2+ years experience working with JIRA, Confluence or equivalent ticket tracking systems.
  • 2+ years experience gathering, analyzing, and communicating requirements for complex enhancements
  • 2+ years experience in systems administration and/or configuration management Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience/certificationPreferred Qualifications:
    • Graduate degree
    • Min 6 years experience in QA, Acceptance Testing including a minimum of 2 years managing and leading a small team of testers
    • Solid understanding of test methodologies and tools in agile development process
    • Can demonstrate a track record of defining and implementing acceptance test strategies, test plans, test scripts and tools in an agile development process
    • Hands-on test experience
    • At least 4 years working in agile software development process and able to demonstrate a good understanding of agile processes
    • Good technical knowledge, including the ability to talk with product owners and developers to understand user stories and requirements, define acceptance criteria and test scripts
    • Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities

      • Develop UAT strategy and plans to ensure alignment with product roadmap and development sprint plans
      • Work closely with product owners and developers to understand user stories and requirements. Define and document acceptance criteria, test scripts and tools
      • Ensure that there is a repository of test scripts and tools that are cross referenced to business rules and user stories
      • Manage and prioritize defects through resolution and assist developers in the identification and resolution of defects; monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes; compile all test outcomes in an organized manner
      • Report UAT progress, status, risks, and issues to the Product Owner, Scrum Master and other stakeholders
      • Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solution meets user requirements and all UAT exit criteria are metDelivering Technology
        • Works closely with key client stakeholders and property-based technology resources, and product managers to implement improvements to support business needs and value
        • Reviews design documents and change requests for completeness and proper authorizations within their teams software/platform ownership
        • Executes process controls reporting compliance metrics for process and data standards
        • Identifies opportunities and submits proposals for improvement with respect to tools, training, process, procedures, and work instructions
        • Provides expertise on technical questions related to supported software/platforms
