CommScope is looking to add Corporate Counsel to our legal team.

Under the direction of CommScope's Assistant General Counsel, the attorney will provide legal counsel, advice, and guidance for the Company's commercial operations around the world with an emphasis on supply chain as well as global software licensing development, and distribution operations as requested from time to time. Preferred locations for this position are Hickory, NC; Richardson, TX; Horsham, PA, and Shakopee, MN, with the potential for hybrid or fully remote work per CommScope policies.

**How You'll Help Us Connect the World**

A function of this role will be to assist in developing policies and procedures and standard contract templates crafted to ensure sound contracting practices and commercial activity consistent with CommScope's overall business objectives and assist in efforts to ensure that these templates, policies, and procedures are communicated effectively throughout the Company through training and other methods.

Here, you will negotiate and draft contracts, including purchase agreements, services agreements, and licensing agreements, that promote business objectives. We will look to you to advise internal business clients of risks, and partner with the business to provide alternative solutions to meet Company goals. **Required Qualifications for Consideration:**

- A completed Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal role.

- Developed drafting skills with keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills - verbal and written - able to capture relevant information and optimally document and articulate findings.
- Skilled in problem-solving and analytical reasoning.
- A track record of motivating change across a matrix organization.
