Campaign Director Supervised By: Chief Philanthropy Officer, this
position is part of the Philanthropy team. Compensation: This is a
full-time salaried exempt position. Compensation of $70,000
commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package,
including fully paid health/dental/vision insurance, paid vacation
& wellness time, and a 403(b) retirement plan. Job
Classification:Exempt, Full-Time Employees scheduled to work 40 or
more hours per week. Work includes travel and out-of-the-office
appointments. Purpose of Position: The Campaign Director is
responsible for driving the team and the success of our
Comprehensive Campaign by providing strategic leadership,
management, and oversight. This position works in close partnership
with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Philanthropy Officer,
Campaign Chair, Campaign Committee(s), and organizational
leadership to design, execute, and drive the Campaign's success
from planning through completion. The Campaign Director is a
strategic thinker and skilled relationship-builder who can guide
high-level volunteers, high-value donors, manage complex
fundraising systems, and ensure operational excellence throughout
the Campaign. This position plays a critical leadership,
outward-facing role in advancing Girls Inc. of Santa Fes mission
through major philanthropic investment. Occasional night and
weekend work will be required in order to attend prospecting events
and organizational events for donors and stakeholders. Campaign
coordination duties include: Strategic Leadership & Campaign
Management Provide overall strategic direction, planning, and
management for the Comprehensive Campaign. Partner with executive
leadership and Campaign Committee to develop and refine campaign
strategy, timelines, and objectives. Lead day-to-day Campaign
operations at a high level, ensuring alignment with organizational
goals and fundraising best practices. Oversee the identification,
qualification, and strategic cultivation of Campaign prospects.
Develop, monitor, and adjust Campaign plans, budgets, and progress
benchmarks. Stakeholder & Volunteer Leadership Recruit, train, and
support Campaign volunteer leaders and committees. Guide and
motivate volunteer solicitors by providing strategic
recommendations and ensuring they are well prepared for prospect
engagement. Serve as a key liaison between staff, board members,
campaign leadership, and external partners. Oversee the creation
and implementation of volunteer training materials, campaign
manuals, and support resources. Prospect & Donor Strategy Lead
strategic development of donor cultivation and solicitation plans
in collaboration with the Chief Philanthropy Officer. Ensure next
steps, moves-management strategies, and prospect assignments are
appropriately tracked and executed Managing scheduling,
communication, and data entry around conversations, touch points,
and cultivation events with high-level donors in a professional
donor relationship-centered manner Oversee preparation of
high-level donor briefings, proposals, and communications.
Participate in select high-value donor meetings and campaign events
as a senior representative of Girls Inc. of Santa Fe. Campaign
Communications & Materials Oversee development and production of
all campaign materials, including case statements, proposals,
briefings, and progress reports. Collaborate with the Chief
Storyteller/Communications team to design and execute marketing,
PR, and social media strategies for the Campaign. Ensure
consistent, compelling messaging that aligns with organizational
values and Campaign goals. Data, Reporting & Financial Oversight
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of gifts, pledges, and
Campaign progress. Oversee Campaign record-keeping systems,
database management, and moves-management processes. Partner with
the Chief Operating Officer and Bookkeeper to ensure gifts and
pledges are properly recorded, reconciled, and acknowledged.
Provide senior-level analysis and regular progress reports to the
CEO, board, and campaign leadership. Events & Engagement Provide
strategic oversight for campaign-related donor events, cultivation
gatherings, volunteer meetings, and public presentations. Work with
CPO to ensure events support the broader campaign strategy and
advance donor relationships. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a
related field or equivalent experience. A belief in and commitment
to the mission of Girls Incorporated of Santa Fe and a passion for
nonprofit excellence; Experience leading Capital Campaigns
preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in major gift
fundraising or related roles, preferably within a nonprofit
organization. Proven track record of successfully soliciting and
securing major gifts ($10,000). Excellent interpersonal,
communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong
organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
and deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a
collaborative team. Knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in
Santa Fe and the surrounding region is a plus. Commitment to open
communication, teamwork and collaboration, transparency and
authenticity, accountability and professionalism; Experience with a
CRM will be extremely helpful in this role; experience with
Salesforce preferred; Demonstrated computer proficiency within the
Google environment, with Microsoft Office and an ability to
manipulate database information in a PC environment;
Critical-thinking skills, strong work ethic and a positive
attitude; Experience working with confidential information; Highly
organized with attention to detail; Ability to work as part of a
team and work independently with little supervision; Excellent
written and verbal communication skills; Ability to multitask and
work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while
maintaining a positive and professional attitude; Ability to
anticipate problems and use judgment appropriately to plan
