the 10-year, $1.6 billion Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract for
the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Environmental Management,
Los Alamos Field Office.N3B is a limited liability company owned by
HII Nuclear Inc. and BWX Technologies, joined by our critical
subcontractors Longenecker and Associates and Tech2 Solutions.N3B
brings operational discipline, proven approaches and predictable
results to the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract.Position
Location:This position is located in Los Alamos, New Mexico.Los

retirees. Position Summary:This position serves as a CH-TRU Senior
Supervisor for Regulatory Compliance for cleanup operations as a
result of past TRU processing activities. Specific duties may
include, but are not necessarily limited to, leading a team of
Environmental Compliance Technicians, strategic planning,
operational planning, program implementation, communications and
execution of projects and deliverables. The Senior Supervisor will
also assist in conducting environmental protection assessments to
evaluate contaminated sites, analyzing and recommending technical
solutions, assisting in the development of TRU waste isolation
and/or removal strategies.The Senior Supervisor provides
environmental protection support and work with other managers and
staff throughout the CH-TRU organization to solve environmental
compliance issues in accordance with all environmental regulatory
requirements.This position reports to the Regulatory Compliance
Director. Essential Duties/Responsibilities (may include, but are
not limited to):
- Assists in directing employees including: forecasting staffing
requirements, directing assignments, assuring training and
development, monitoring performance, completes written performance
appraisals, provides employees with regular feedback
- Provides leadership, management, supervision, of assigned
employees, including knowledge of employee developmental skills,
mentoring, team building, and resolving conflicts.
- Provide excellent customer service to CH-TRU
stakeholders/organization and implementing sound environmental
protection practices
- Providing environmental protection technical guidance to CH-TRU
operations on environmental problems and issues
- Conducting environmental protection assessments/walk downs of
contaminated sites to determine the scope, constituent content, and
physical parameters of the pollutants
- Thorough knowledge of environmental program development,
administration, and understanding of DOE requirements.
- Advanced working knowledge of federal, state and local
environmental regulatoryRequirements
- Technical leadership that emphasizes organizational skills,
strategic and tactical planning, team building, program
development, project management, business plan development and
employee development
- Lead an organization in operational planning, program
implementation, and communications and execution of projects and
deliverables
- Responsible for management, supervision and human resources
administration of assigned employees
- Ability to effectively communicate, interacts, and works with
internal customers and with Federal, State, and local
agenciesEducation and Experience Required:Bachelors' degree in a
technical discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physiology, etc.)
combined with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Experience
should include a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
However, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein
the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the position's
duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is
acceptable.Education Equivalency: 2 years of relevant experience
for 1 year of college.Business Associations: Interacts internally
primarily with subordinates and other supervisors. External
interaction is typically with suppliers, vendors and/or customers.
Primary purpose of liaison is information sharing and basic problem
resolution.Impact: Decisions impact work unit operations. Erroneous
decisions or recommendations or failure to achieve results might
cause delays in schedules and require the allocation of more people
and financial resources. Working Conditions and Physical
Requirements: Perform Regulatory Compliance support in a field
environment. May work in inclement (hot or cold) conditions. Lift
and carry analytical equipmentSafety, Security, and QualityWhile
working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, the Senior Supervisory for
Regulatory Compliance will ensure all activities and operations are
performed in a safe and deliberate manner to include protecting the
confidentiality and integrity of Personally Identifiable
Information (PII). This role will maintain required safety,
security and operational training; assure procedural and regulatory
compliance; and make safety, security and quality an integral part
of every task; including taking the necessary steps to stop work if
