Join a mission with a company behind it.**Why We're Worth the Application:**+ We continue to grow year over year.+ Recognized as a leader in driving important diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) efforts ( .+ Achieved a 100% score two years in a row on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index recognizing us as a best place to work for LGBTQ+ equality.+ Named to's list of the best companies for women to advance for 3 years in a row ( (2020, 2021 and 2022).+ Continue to prioritize the employee experience and achieved a 90% overall engagement score on our employee survey in May 2022.+ Publish an annual DE&I report ( to share our progress on how we're building an equitable workplace.**What You'll Be Doing:**+ Provide support for user problems related to hardware and software issues.+ Diagnose and repair reported problems, which includes documentation of all pertinent end user information and nature of problem or issue.+ Maintain detailed and accurate call/ticket logs and trouble tickets.+ Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process.+ Test fixes to ensure problems have been resolved.+ Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future occurrences.+ Answering inquiries relating to IT department policies and procedures.+ Assist with internal physical moves, PC, telephone etc.+ Installation and approve operational quality of system equipment to include software, hardware devices and network connectivity.+ Instruct and train customers on the proper operation, use and maintenance of the system.+ Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.+ Perform installation functions, such as cable pulling, mounting devices, switches and router mounting.+ Participates in team meetings to discuss and evaluate current projects.+ Participation in a 24x7 on call rotation required.+ Set up of IT equipment for all new hires.+ Work with the Compliance Team to investigate and recommend security solutions and process improvement initiatives as well as assist to resolve security incidents.+ Actively participates in business continuity and disaster recovery tabletop tests.+ Provide ongoing assistance to the Compliance Team for internal and external audit requests.+ Other functions as assigned.**Skills and Experiences:**+ Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite products.+ Knowledge of basic computer hardware.+ Experience in troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems involving software and hardware.+ Ability to communicate effectively.+ Exceptional written and oral communication skills.+ Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.+ Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.+ Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize.+ Self-starter and able to work independently.+ Excellent customer service problem solving skills.**Qualifications:**+ Associates degree in computer science or equivalent experience, at least 2 years of experience in the field.+ Certificate courses in software, hardware and networking.**Technical Requirements:**Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
