Los Alamos Medical Center$10,000.00 Sign-On Bonus is available for this position for twenty four month FT committment.Six months of $1,000.00/month Housing AllowanceLos Alamos Medical Center is committed to its quality initiatives and a culture of safety, is invested in the growth of its staff and thus supports ongoing education, certifications and other ongoing learning, and extends numerous recognition programs to all of its staff.This FT role provides inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and other patient care equipment in accordance with processing guidelines, AAMI, AORN, TJC, and OSHA requirements.Operates departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety.Provides customer service to all departments with a focus on the patient need.Processes and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical, biological, and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy.Monitors and performs antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing according to manufacturer instructions and documentation daily.
