position processes dietary orders and keeps daily diet sheet
current. Assures patients have the appropriate menu completed and
follows up on questionable food choices. Has basic knowledge of
therapeutic diets and can locate additional information when needed
for clarification. Accurately assembles trays in a neat and timely
fashion. Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution
to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services.
Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and
areas according to policies and procedures. Assists with
customer-facing duties as assigned, including tray delivery and
pickup, and catering special events. Restocks patient serving area
and assists in proper storage of food deliveries. Assists with
sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and
food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
