**Overview**
Maximo Developer
As a National Laboratory, we offer a unique blend of opportunities
for the exceptional candidate. This position's focus encompasses
the design, development, implementation, maintenance, operation,
and support of of PNNL's Enterprise implementation of IBM Maximo
and supporting systems. Your work will include maintaining and
operating existing business information systems, partnering with
clients to define, build and deliver innovative software solutions
to complex business and scientific problems; working with effective
teams from multiple disciplines; and recommending and implementing
technology standards and development best practices. As a member of
a stable team, you are expected to develop knowledge of the goals
of projects or clients you are supporting - and maintain a customer
service focus commensurate with this position.
**Responsibilities**
Your key responsibilities and accountabilities would include:
+ Work collaboratively as part of an agile development team that
delivers incremental features to a wide range of products.
+ Propose software designs and architectural approaches for new
features and applications
+ Collaborate effectively on diverse teams (e.g., Portfolio /
Project managers, domain experts, users, and software engineering
team) to design and deploy innovative business information systems
across the enterprise.
+ Provide individual contribution to software development projects
across a broad range of technologies and subject areas.
+ Utilize software engineering best practices through the entire
software development lifecycle and recommend changes in
development, maintenance, and system standards.
+ Enhance personal technical and professional skills through active
mentoring and training.
+ Assimilate knowledge quickly in a variety of domains.
+ Continuously scan the software development landscape for new
technologies and methods to achieve results that can be
incorporated into the enterprise.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications:
+ BS/BA and 5+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
+ MS/MA or higher and 3+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
+ AA/TIG and 14 years of relevant experience - OR-
+ HS/GED and 16 years of relevant experience
+ Qualifying experience must demonstrate proficiency in
implementing automation, troubleshooting, configuring, and analysis
of applicable information technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Development experience Maximo 7.6.x
+ Experience with Maximo Cloud implementations a plus
+ Extensive experience with Maximo Integrations and OSLC REST
APIs
+ Development experience with Maximo Asset Suite
+ Extensive experience writing Maximo Automation Scripts and Python
2.7
+ Significant experience in core Maximo apps such as Workflow
Designer, Application Designer, and Migration Manager
+ Experience writing SQL queries against the Maximo data model
+ Experience in the development of complex software systems using
industry best practices
+ Exceptional communicator with both technical and nontechnical
audiences
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically to deliver innovative
solutions
+ Deliver results with highest level of professionalism and
integrity
