Position Summary
UNM-Los Alamos is seeking a Senior Student Enrollment Associate to
implement the student enrollment functions of the branch campus
including admissions, registration and records, placement and
assessment, and document storage and archiving.
This position acts as the first point of contact for perspective
students and admission applicants seeking guidance and real time
answers to diverse and challenging questions while delivering
excellent customer services related to Admissions, Records and
Registration, and other UNM departments.
Candidates must demonstrate high levels of individual focus and
commitment towards addressing customer questions and resolving
issues accurately while communicating with the highest degree of
professionalism.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED;at least 7 years of experience directly
related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above
the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience
on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
-Demonstrated skills in problems solving, multi-tasking, and
analyzing programmatic requirements and policies.
-Proven success in achieving high levels of customer
satisfaction.
- Experience and/or familiarization with higher education with
knowledge in Admissions, Records & Registration, Financial Aid, and
other student services.
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated efficiency, accuracy,
and ability to learn programs such as with: (Banner, OnBase, MS
Teams, Zoom)
- Experience working with varied populations including students,
faculty, staff and community; in particular within the diverse
communities of Northern New Mexico.
-Bilingual English/Spanish
