Job Description:
What You Will DoThis position will report to the eSOMS Project
Lead and will be assigned to a 4-10 schedule on day shift. This
position may be required to be in an on-call status and to be
available when in that on-call role. This position will be in
charge of an area within ALDWP for the implementation and
maintaining of eSOMS as the electronic logging and rounds system
utilized as the standard within this directorate. This position
will work with local administrators to build eSOMS components to
the needs of the customer, as well as provide training and support
to all users under their cognizance. This position will act as a
backup for the eSOMS Area System Administrator for other areas when
needed. This position will be crucial in the improvement of Conduct
of Operations compliance and improved communication throughout all
groups contained within ALDWP and aid this directorate in achieving
their mission.What You NeedMinimum Job Requirements:Conduct of
Operations: Demonstrated knowledge working under the umbrella of a
Conduct of Operations framework. Knowledge of P315 requirements and
the impact this has on operations is required.Coordination:
Demonstrated expert experience with various administrative
functions in support of program compliance, to include planning,
prioritizing, and scheduling work activities.Communication:
Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills as
evidenced by internal and/or external interactions, trainings,
briefings, and presentations. Demonstrated evidence of
cross-organizational interaction with external regulatory or
oversight agencies.Problem Solving: Expert-level problem solving
skills to customize builds to meet customer needs.Teamwork:
Experience teaming with multiple organizations to accomplish
objectives and demonstrated ability to elicit effective
teamwork.Issue Support: Provide expert consultant services for
customer groups.Education/Experience: Position requires a
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 8 years of
directly related experience; or, an equivalent combination of
education and experience directly related to the occupation.Desired
Qualifications:Facility Operations Experience: Exceptional
knowledge of and experience with facility operations.LANL Policies,
Practices, & Procedures: Expert knowledge of the Laboratory's
facility operations policies, practices, and procedures, can apply
them to resolve issues.eSOMS Experience: Extensive experience with
software utilized in electronic logging and rounds, including
administrative functions, as well as user performance knowledge.
Qualified eSOMS Administrator is highly desired. Location: This
position will be located in Los Alamos, NM. This position will be
physically located at Technical Area 55 or other ALDWP owned space.
Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to
serve a period of continuous service in their current position in
order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the

individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is

for additional information.HRP: This position is subject to the
requirements of the DOE Human Reliability Program as specified in
10 Code of Federal Regulation, Part 712, -712.11. These
requirements include on going drug and alcohol testing, as well as
periodic medical and psychological evaluations.New-Employment Drug
Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a
new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy
that includes random drug testing. Although New Mexico and other
states have legalized the use of marijuana, use and possession of
marijuana remain illegal under federal law. A positive drug test
for marijuana will result in termination of employment, even if the
use was pre-offer. Regular position: Term status Laboratory
employees applying for regular-status positions are converted to
regular status.Internal Applicants: Regular appointment employees
who have served the required period of continuous service in their
