Regulation - read, interpret, and implement new environmental laws

Air permitting - strategize, prepare, and submit air permit applications including emissions calculations and modeling (Title V with SUIT, mNSR with EPA, CDPHE, NMED)

Air monitoring/testing - coordinate engine monitoring and testing and FLIR inspections

Compliance reporting - prepare and submit required state and federal emissions inventories, monitoring reports, and compliance reports (JJJJ, OOOOa, HH, ZZZZ, Part 98, SARA, Regulation 7, 19.15.27, 20.2.50, 20.2.73, permit specific)

Agency inspections - prepare for and facilitate inspections, respond to and support resolution of findings

Effectively communicate and negotiate with local, state, federal, and tribal agencies

Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, from field level to senior management

Coordinate other areas of environmental compliance including SPCC, stormwater, and domestic water wells

Provide backup support for spill response and waste as well as health and safety

Required Skills and Abilities

Bachelor's degree, engineering degree preferred

10 years of experience in environmental with strong project management skills

Oil and gas industry air quality experience

FLIR certification preferred

Practices and encourages open, honest, and timely communication

Lead and foster a culture of ethical behavior that supports compliance programs with federal, state, local, and tribal environmental regulations

90% office work

10% field work in New Mexico and Colorado

Ability to work outside of normal working hours

Self-starter with sound judgment and decision-making abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
