**What You Will Do**
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is seeking an experienced
leased facility management professional to fill the role as the
Leased Tenant Representative. This position will report to the
Infrastructure Program Office (IFPROG) as a regular staff member.
This role is responsible for serving as the single facility
services point of contact for LANL occupants in the LANL leased
facilities located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The primary duties of the leased tenant representative will be
to coordinate, communicate, plan, execute and/or manage some or all
the following actions: tenant needs from initial request through
execution, landlord issues and request such as facility
maintenance, operations, inspections and modifications. The work
requires a general knowledge of lease contracts, principles and
practices, as well as basic understanding of Federal, DOE and NNSA
requirements, orders and guidelines, with regards to leased
facility management. The successful candidate should require a
strong customer service ethic when managing actions within the LANL
leased facilities. The successful candidate will regularly interact
with tenants, facility representatives, landlords and their
respective agencies, contractors and vendors. In addition, the
Leased Tenant Representative will interact with safety, security,
emergency preparedness, and other LANL subject matter experts in
meeting applicable LANL requirements in a leased facility

**_What You Need_**
**Minimum Job Requirements:**
Experience as a facility management and operations professional
in commercial or institutional environments. Demonstrated
experience in developing, and maintaining a high level of occupant
confidence and satisfaction.
**Facility and Operations Coordination:**
Demonstrated understanding of typical facility management,
operations, maintenance, and construction functions and how to
coordinate building owner responsibilities and occupant operations
in a manner that meets the needs of both. Ability to develop a
facility work planning and notification process with facility
owners and occupants to avoid unplanned interruptions to occupant
operations and foster efficient building owner execution of needed
Ability to negotiate with customers, stakeholders, subject
matter experts, and management, regarding matters of significance
to the organization.
**Written and Oral Communication Skills:**
Must have the ability to develop effective communications to
occupants, building owners, and other laboratory functional
organizations, to include presentations and reports.
**Education/Experience:** Position requires a bachelor's degree
and 8 years of related management experience, or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
+ Demonstrated knowledge of the leased facility management,
operations, and contractual arrangements and principles.
+ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of institutional, and
campus type sites with regards to leased facility and real estate
+ Experience in the emergency management and emergency
preparedness disciplines including the building emergency response
organizations, drill programs, and event recovery.
+ Knowledge of and working familiarity with facility systems,
operations, maintenance functions, and industrial safety.
+ Ability to identify problem areas, investigating alternative
solutions, and determining actions to be performed on problems
affecting building owner and occupant operations.
+ Experience managing facilities supporting high level meetings,
