Job Description Job Description Litigation Attorney- Employment Employment Defense Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Employment Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in employment-related legal matters, focusing on defending against claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, and other employment disputes. This role requires strong litigation skills and a comprehensive understanding of employment law. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in employment law cases, including wrongful termination and discrimination claims. Draft and file legal pleadings and motions related to employment disputes. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents for discovery and trial preparation. Engage in motion practice and argue motions in court as necessary. Advise clients on employment law issues, including wage and hour regulations. Defend clients in class action lawsuits related to employment practices. Negotiate settlements and represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in the relevant state. 3 years of experience in employment law or litigation. Strong knowledge of employment law, including wage and hour regulations, wrongful termination, and discrimination. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
