Position DescriptionYour opportunity:
As a full-time Senior Computer Engineer for TechSource, you will support our DOE client Los Alamos National Laboratory by Providing RTEMS board support assistance to LLRF and support their independent FCM upgrade board hardware development efforts. Educate Software Team members to be able to support them in the future. Upgrade FCM/BPPM/TDAQ systems, and IP support library and RTEMS Ethernet kernel driver. Maintain up to date training for TA53 on-site support. Provide upgrade plans, status, and schedule updates, as well as relevant presentation sand effort reports, as requested.

What you will do:

• Reconstruct FCM/TDAQ/BPPM hardware test system as needed
• Work with other AOT-IC software members to transfer knowledge
• Maintain up to date training for TA53 onsite support
• Establish stable repeatable builds for current TDAQ/BPPM/FCM systems
• Fix any remaining FPGA multi-corner signal setup timing issues in BPPM systems.
• Provide upgrade plans, status, and schedule updates
• Assessments and Evaluations
• Technical Status and Assessment Reports
• Special Projects, Plans, Reviews, Assessments, and Reports
• Monthly Status/Progress Report (as requested)What you will need:
  
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 30 Years experience in Electrical/computer engineering
  • 
    Experience with ANSI C, C++, Assembler, Linux, MS Windows, RTEMS
    
  • 
    Knowledge of vxWorks, TCP/UDP/IP/sockets, MATLAB, LabView, Visual Studio, SVN, git, Bazaar, CVS,
    Board verification support and drivers expertise
  • Experience with Altera Quartus/QSYS/Timequest, nios2, SOC, VHDL, VPX, VME, Embedded IP, PCI Express, Ethernet, DDR, CIC, FIR
