Lovelace Medical Group is seeking a self-motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Lovelace family in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lovelace Bariatrics has been named a Fully Accredited MBSAQIP (Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accredited Quality Improvement Program) by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Join the Lovelace Irving Clinic, a small team with shared goals for exceptional patient care, consistently working together to provide great patient experience.

About the Position:

• Lovelace Irving Clinic
• Join a bariatrics team of 2 physicians, 1 PA and 3+ support team members
• Daily Patient Average: 18-14
• Tricore Lab on-site
• Mon-Fri, 8-5
• EMR: Epic

Candidate Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with experience delivering professional care to medical weight loss patients, and will take initiative while displaying a hardworking ethic to keep up with this busy practice. Must have excellent organization, follow-up and communication skills for dealing with patients, their families, physicians and other healthcare providers.

• Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensed in the state of New Mexico as an NP by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• New Mexico Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance licensure by the time of employment
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Experienced or graduating NP with medical weight loss profession experience are encouraged to apply!
• Looking for a candidate that can provide both medical weight loss and surgical follow up and possibly assist in the OR
