Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 27, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a CT X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a 24/7 Emergency and Urgent Care setting, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details - Work setting is a 24/7 Emergency and Urgent Care department - Performs diagnostic CT and X-ray examinations in an emergency care environment - 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) - Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required - Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements - Minimum 2 years of current CT Technologist experience required - Associate's Degree or higher required - New Mexico MIRTP Radiologic Technologist License with CT designation required (license required if applicable) - Primary ARRT certification and ARRT (CT) certification required - Current BLS certification required; must be obtained through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information - Performs diagnostic CT scans and general radiographic (X-ray) examinations - May work independently or alongside a radiologic team, including in support of critical access rural regional hospital settings - Former permanent staff of this facility must wait one year before being considered as a travel candidate - Dosimeter (OSL or TLD) must be supplied and tracked for radiation exposure monitoring; badges are evaluated quarterly American Traveler Job ID P-689228.
