Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Echo Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n Echo Technologist - Echo Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM /n• No weekend requirements /n• No on-call requirements /n• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients /n• Work in Echo Lab (Echocardiography) department /n• Required certifications: A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation /n• State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License required /n• BLS certification issued through American Heart Association required /n• High school diploma or equivalent required /n• Two year allied health education program preferred /n• Two years of actively performing echocardiograms preferred /n• Must demonstrate effective communication and strong organizational skills /n• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams /n• Ability to work at rapid pace under stressful conditions /n• Manual dexterity required to perform echocardiograms /n• Physical requirements include lifting patients and pushing heavy equipment /n• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization is a comprehensive regional medical center providing advanced cardiovascular services to the community.
