Location: You must be based in and reside in California. This is
not related to where you hold licensure. Experience: We require at
least two years of direct, patient-facing counseling experience.
Ideally, this experience has been gained in a private practice or
healthcare setting where you independently managed a broad range of
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) conditions and used a structured,
long-term behavior change approach. Scope: This role provides
comprehensive nutrition counseling for adults managing a wide range
of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) conditions, including weight
management, chronic diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular
concerns, gut health, metabolic disorders, and women’s health.
Using evidence-based, long-term behavior change strategies, you
will help patients build sustainable habits, overcome emotional or
behavioral barriers, and achieve meaningful, lasting improvements
in their health. Schedule: This is a remote, full-time position
working from 8am to 5pm local time. The role consists of conducting
32 patient sessions per week. During a 2–4 week ramp-up period, you
will gradually build your caseload and reach a full patient
schedule by the end of that time. Compensation : Compensation is
structured on a per-session basis. This is a full-time position
with a caseload of 32 sessions per week. Range: $84,500.00 -
$92,950.00 per year Role Overview Everlong is seeking a fully
remote Registered Dietitian with strong expertise in Medical
Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and a proven ability to support lasting
behavior change. In this role, you will use counseling techniques
and accountability strategies to guide patients through meaningful,
sustainable improvements in their health. Ideally, you have
developed your skills in a private practice or clinical setting,
creating comprehensive care plans and building trusting, long-term
relationships with your patients. As a member of the Everlong team,
you will help patients navigate the emotional, psychological, and
behavioral factors that influence their eating habits. You will
work with a diverse patient population managing conditions such as
diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, obesity, metabolic
disorders, and other lifestyle-related nutrition concerns. Your
focus will be on empowering patients to develop sustainable habits,
improve energy and confidence, and foster healthier, more balanced
relationships with food and their bodies. Who We Are Everlong is a

We are looking for a confident, outcomes-driven Registered
Dietitian who thrives on helping patients create lasting,
meaningful changes in their health. You take a direct, pragmatic
approach to Medical Nutrition Therapy, using evidence-based
behavior-change strategies to address the emotional, psychological,
and behavioral drivers of eating, not just the food itself. You
know how to cut through barriers, set clear boundaries, and provide
honest, actionable guidance that empowers patients to build
sustainable habits and achieve long-term results. You are
experienced in private practice or healthcare settings and have
managed a diverse range of nutrition needs with a structured,
effective approach. You enjoy holding patients accountable while
creating a supportive, trusting relationship, helping them feel
confident in their bodies, reduce stress around food, and maintain

will thrive on our team. Responsibilities Weekly Patient
Counseling: Counsel patients on a weekly basis using evidence-based
nutrition strategies and advanced behavior-change techniques - such
as motivational interviewing, goal-setting, and accountability
measures. Ensure each session is focused, results-driven, and
aligned with the patient's personalized care plan while developing
and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships. Caseload Management:
As a full-time dietitian, you will counsel 32 patient sessions per
week. You will work with patients across a variety of Medical
Nutrition Therapy (MNT) needs. guiding them through emotional,
behavioral, and lifestyle factors that influence eating. while
delivering personalized, evidence-based care that supports
sustainable, long-term behavior change. Assessment & Care Planning:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify nutritional
needs and develop personalized, actionable care plans that
integrate long-term behavior-change strategies. Patient Scheduling
& Reengagement: Monitor appointment adherence and promptly contact
patients who miss sessions to reschedule them. Proactively reengage
patients to ensure they remain actively involved in their care
plan. Patient Communication: Respond to patient emails and other
communications quickly, professionally, and efficiently, addressing
inquiries in a timely manner. Charting & Documentation: Ensure
accurate, timely charting of all patient interactions and document
progress notes in accordance with clinical and regulatory
standards. Team Collaboration: Attend regular team meetings,
actively collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a unified,
supportive approach to patient care. Professional Accountability:
Set firm expectations with patients, holding them accountable while
consistently providing honest, effective counseling.
Skills/Requirements Registered Dietitian Nutritionist: Must be a
Registered Dietitian (RDN) in good standing with all required
credentials. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of direct,
patient-facing counseling experience is required - ideally gained
in a private setting or healthcare facility setting managing a
broad range of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) conditions.
Behavior-Change Expertise: Demonstrated ability to implement
advanced behavior-change strategies, including motivational
interviewing, goal-setting, and accountability techniques, in a
direct and pragmatic manner. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal
and written communication skills, with the ability to respond
promptly and professionally to patient communications.
Interpersonal Skills: Proven capability to build and maintain
strong, ongoing relationships with patients through clear, honest,
and direct counseling. Organizational & Documentation Skills:
Strong organizational abilities and a proven track record of
maintaining accurate, timely charting and progress notes in
compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Team
Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a
remote team, actively participating in team meetings and
contributing to a results-driven, supportive environment.
