Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,432 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Two (2) years current experience in an 18-plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit; must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. License: State Nursing License (Compact State acceptable) Certifications: BLS, ACLS certifications (must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross) Must-Have: Selected candidates must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test. Candidates will not be able to start an assignment until they have passed this onsite administered test. Should candidates fail, they will have one opportunity to re-test; a second failure will result in contract cancellation and all applicable fees will be enforced. Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Candidates must be team players, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
