ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Provide direct patient care in a progressive care unit utilizing the nursing process • Work with assigned group of patients during shift including assessment, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care • Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols • Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test onsite before starting assignment • One opportunity to re-test if initial BCA test is failed; second failure results in contract cancellation • Two years current experience required in 18 bed telemetry/progressive care unit • Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment • Must be team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment • Required certifications: New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS (through AHA, AHS, or ARC) • Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) • Epic EMR experience preferred • NIHSS certification preferred • English proficiency required (speak, read, write) Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides progressive care services with specialized telemetry units.
