Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/18/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Evenings, 5x8hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: May 18, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR/Surgery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM, requiring active NM or Compact RN licensure and AHA-certified BLS and ACLS. Details - Work setting is a hospital Operating Room department - Mid shift hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM - Weekend work is required - On-call responsibilities are required - Floating to other locations or units is required Requirements - Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required - BLS and ACLS certifications required, both from AHA - Minimum 1 year of RN experience required - Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program - Must be able to perform heavy physical tasks including prolonged standing, walking, positioning, pushing, and transferring patients and equipment - Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration — Canadian SIN not accepted - 2 professional references required for consideration - Copies of all active certifications required for consideration Additional Information - Coordinate and implement patient care appropriate to the age of the patient population served in the OR - Work environment involves exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and X-rays - Schedule may vary due to unexpected changes or emergencies - Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a radius rule — local candidates are not accepted unless the position explicitly states 'LOCALS ACCEPTED' American Traveler Job ID P-681851.
