Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 2 years of Med/Surg experience required • New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required • BLS certification from AHA required • ACLS certification optional • Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served • Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner • Demonstrate performance consistent with unit standards of care • Communicate clearly and appropriately to developmental age of patient • Handle emergency/crisis situations as needed • Physical requirements include prolonged standing, walking, heavy lifting for patient positioning and equipment handling • Work in clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment • Exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays • Must demonstrate manual dexterity and fine motor coordination Facility: This regional medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides a full range of medical services to the community.
