Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Rotating weekend requirement up to 2 per 4-week schedule • No on-call requirement, but may be placed on call if unit or hospital has low census • Floating requirement when census or acuity is low - will float as helping hands • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required • BLS Certification from AHA required • ACLS Certification from AHA required • PALS Certification from AHA required (OR ENPC) • TNCC OR ATCN required • CPI or equivalent preferred • Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of patient population served • Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner • Must demonstrate current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served • Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of patient • Must be able to handle emergency/crisis situations • Requires heavy physical effort to position, push and/or transfer patients or equipment • Exposure to infectious diseases, x-rays, and bloodborne pathogens Facility: This regional medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing emergency department services and various patient care units.
