ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/11/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Two (2) years current experience required in an 18-plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit • Must successfully complete at least one 13-week travel assignment • Must successfully pass a BCA (Basic Cardiac Arrythmia) test administered onsite before starting assignment • One opportunity to re-test if initial test is failed; second failure results in contract cancellation • Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment • Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols • Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs • Assume responsibility for clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Required certifications: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS • BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross • Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) • Epic EMR experience preferred • Charge Nurse experience preferred • NIHSS certification preferred Facility: This healthcare facility operates a progressive care unit with 18 beds providing telemetry and specialized cardiac monitoring services.
