Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal / OB-GYN sonography with 5 years of experience for a mobile outreach role serving multiple clinic locations across New Mexico. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Outreach-based position serving clinic locations in Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe, NM - Sonographer will travel daily via outreach van, departing at 5:15 AM and returning between 6:30–7:00 PM - A driver transports the sonographer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; the sonographer drives the outreach van on Tuesdays (Gallup) and Fridays (Santa Fe) - Focuses on low and high-level women's imaging for pregnant patients - Equipment includes GE E22, GE E10, and GE S10 ultrasound machines - Charting performed in Cerner - 4x12-hour day shifts, 5:15 AM – 7:00 PM - No weekend or on-call requirements - Candidate must reside in the Albuquerque area - Perform OB/GYN and maternal fetal ultrasound examinations at multiple outreach clinic sites - Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a mobile outreach setting - Facility is a Level I Trauma, Teaching, and Children's Hospital with 554 staffed beds - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Burgundy scrubs required - No parking fee at base location - RTO requests exceeding 7 days require approval; all time-off requests should be submitted upfront /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 5 years of sonography experience - ARDMS OB/GYN, ARDMS, ARDMS Fetal Echo (FE), and current BLS certification required - NM State License required if applicable; pending state license accepted - Must be capable of working independently without direct supervision - Fetal Echo certification required - COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with a completed exemption form signed by a provider - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-677717.
