working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Description: Looking for Registered Nurses for the PCU specialty.
Located in a heart hospital setting. Option for 36 or 48 hours per
week available. 1st-time travelers are accepted, local travelers
are not. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 on the unit. Weekend
requirements are as needed and will rotate. Float requirements are
in place based on facility needs. No on-call requirement. Block
scheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Cardiovascular experience is a necessity for this role. Daily
patient census averages around 38. The unit consists of 55 beds.
Nurses will work with adults and geriatric patients. Expected
patient diagnoses include CHF, STEMI, and NSTEMI. Special
procedures include pre and post cardiac surgery and sheath removal.
Candidates should possess skills in blood product administration,
central line care, and telemetry management. Nurses will be
responsible for the management of cardiac drips and various airway
management techniques. Must be proficient in wound care and have
experience with phlebotomy and IV protocols. Telemetry experience
is essential for this position. All candidates are expected to
float to similar units within their scope as needed. 5 Benefits of
