Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This full-time Occupational Therapist position offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant school setting located in Rio Rancho, NM. The role focuses on supporting elementary and secondary school students, providing specialized occupational therapy services that enhance fine and gross motor skills within the educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40-45 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on student development. Qualifications and Experience: Valid New Mexico RLD license or ability to obtain it. New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) license or ability to obtain it. Preferred experience working within school settings. Expertise in fine motor and gross motor skill development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work on-site; virtual work is not supported for this assignment. Work Schedule and Location: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. On-site work in Rio Rancho, NM. Travel involved in service delivery within the school environment.
