working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87109! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a
similar setting License: Valid RN license required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience,
experience with patient ratios of 4-5, and community hospital
experience. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in
the Emergency Room. The schedule is for night shifts, requiring
flexibility with weekdays and weekends. Nurses will float as needed
to other units within their scope. Basic Life Support (BLS),
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) certifications are required. Trauma Level II
experience is preferred. Charting experience with Epic is also
preferred. The unit accommodates a diverse patient demographic
including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily
patient volume can reach approximately 80 visits. The unit features
interdisciplinary support from various services including physical
therapy and respiratory therapy. Nurses will be managing patients
with conditions across a spectrum including respiratory, cardiac,
and neurological issues. Patient care includes handling minor
trauma and providing initial medical care for emergencies such as
strokes and STEMIs. Special procedures may involve chest tubes,
procedural sedation, and central line management. Staffing ratios
may vary based on patient acuity, with expectations to maintain a
standard of care. This role requires strong critical thinking
skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must possess effective communication skills to work
collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. The position may
require participation in other procedures and responsibilities as
