Key Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care based on individual needs throughout each shift. - Deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable nursing care. - Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed or according to established protocols, maintaining thorough documentation. - Address patient and family education, including discharge planning from admission onward. - Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and non-licensed assistive personnel, ensuring high standards of practice. - Complete required competency testing and education according to unit protocols and patient population requirements. Qualifications: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. - Experience in multiple nursing specializations is preferred due to floating requirements. - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. - Ability to adapt to various patient care settings efficiently. - Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
