Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support elementary and secondary school students in Tijeras, NM. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance fine and gross motor skills, supporting student success in the educational environment. The position is a contract assignment for the current school year (CSY), requiring a committed, on-site professional. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to an estimated caseload of 40-45 students Support development of fine motor, gross motor, and functional skills within the school setting Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations and licensing standards Qualifications and Experience: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico (NM RLD license required) New Mexico PED license or ability to obtain as a condition of employment Preferred experience working in school-based settings supporting pediatric populations Strong knowledge of fine motor and gross motor skill development Ability to work full-time, onsite, with a schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week Location: Assignment based at an elementary and secondary school site in Tijeras, New Mexico On-site presence required; virtual services are not supported for this role Benefits and Perks: Competitive pay reflecting skills and experience Full benefits package including health insurance and 401(k) with matching Opportunity to impact student growth and development during a full school year contract Candidates who meet licensing and experience requirements are encouraged to apply promptly as interviewing is underway.
