Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This part-time
Occupational Therapist opportunity offers a rewarding role
supporting elementary and middle school students in Rio Rancho, NM.
Ideal for therapists with pediatric and school-based experience,
this position involves working onsite to provide specialized
services to a caseload of approximately 30-35 students. The role
provides a structured schedule of 30 hours per week during the
school year, delivering therapy designed to enhance students'
functional skills and academic success. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary and middle
school students in a school setting Collaborate with educators,
parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized
treatment plans Conduct assessments and regularly monitor student
progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory
and licensing requirements Participate in team meetings and ongoing
professional development Qualifications: Valid Occupational
Therapist license or eligibility to obtain New Mexico RLD and NMPED
licenses Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably
within an educational environment Ability to work onsite
consistently; remote service provision is not supported Strong
communication and collaboration skills to support multidisciplinary
