Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Occupational Therapist is needed for a contract position in
Corrales, NM, supporting elementary and secondary school students
throughout the school year. This role involves working directly
on-site within an elementary school setting and demands expertise
in educational and healthcare occupational therapy, including
skills in gross and fine motor development. Key Responsibilities:
Serve a caseload of approximately 40-45 students, providing
evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring to address
sensory processing, motor, and functional needs. Develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support
students' academic and functional goals. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals
within the classroom environment. Maintain accurate documentation
and comply with school and state regulations. Candidate
Qualifications: Valid or eligibility to obtain New Mexico Resident
Licensed Therapist (RLD) and New Mexico Public Education Department
(NMPED) licenses. Previous experience in school-based occupational
therapy preferred. Demonstrated ability to support gross and fine
motor skill development. Ability to work effectively onsite;
virtual work is not supported for this role. Commitment to working
37.5 hours per week on a full-time basis. Benefits and Perks: Full
