Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized speech-language pathology services in a middle school
setting in San Jose, CA. This part-time contract position offers
16-20 hours per week with an immediate start date. Work directly
with middle school students, delivering tailored therapeutic
interventions to support their communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and
therapy sessions for middle school students Collaborate with
educators and healthcare professionals to develop individualized
education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and progress
reports in compliance with state and federal regulations Utilize
teletherapy methods as needed to reach students remotely Support
students across various speech and language disorders, including
articulation, fluency, voice, and language processing
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid California SLP license
Experience working in school-based speech-language pathology
settings, preferably middle school level Familiarity with pediatric
speech therapy and healthcare environments Credentialed
Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence
(CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience preferred
Teletherapy competency is a plus Ability to collaborate effectively
