missing out. POSITION SUMMARY: Is responsible for daily clinical
operations of the Critical Care Unit, Telemetry. Coordinates all
work and call scheduling efforts of the CVIR nurses. Is accountable
for all orientation and training of the associates regarding best
practice process and procedures. Develops and implements best
practices from across CHRISTUS Health within CV Service Line that
will assist the organization in meeting or exceeding productivity,
caregiver engagement, financial, quality and patient loyalty target
outcomes. Establishes infrastructure required to communicate with
multiple physicians and staff to meet the needs of the
Cardiovascular Service Line. Works directly with the Clinical
Director of Critical Care Services to expand and enhance all
service lines as appropriate. This position requires the full
understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of
CHRISTUS St Vincent. It is expected that the associate demonstrate
behavior consistent with the Core Values. He/she shall support
CHRISTUS St Vincent's strategic plan and the goals and direction of
the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). Requirements DUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing. BSN
preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: R.N. with current New Mexico
State license. BLS, ACLS and other certification as applicable to
area. National certification in area of expertise is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical role in
progressive care services.Two years progressive management
experience. NATURE OF SUPERVISION: -Responsible to: Director,
Critical Care - Responsible for: Critical Care Unit, Telemetry
ENVIRONMENT: Bloodborne pathogen: A Works in a clean, well-lighted,
ventilated smoke-free environment. -Bloodborne pathogen - B.
Exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays. Exposure to varying
unpredictable situations. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Multiple
simultaneous activities of patient care. Must be able to handle
emergency/crisis situations, prolonged, extensive or considerable
standing/walking. Has knowledge of and uses good body mechanics.
Occasionally positions, pushes and/or transfers patients or
equipment. Hearing and visual acuity within normal limits. May be
required to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs. Subject to
