Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing occupational therapy services within a K-12 school district, this contract opportunity is based in Los Lunas, NM. The position involves working full-time on-site, delivering support to multiple school settings including elementary and high schools, as well as contributing to an off-campus Autism program. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students across two elementary schools and one high school Manage caseloads of approximately 11-12 students per elementary school and 17-18 students at the high school Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff by providing consultations and recommendations to support student progress Support the districts specialized Autism program by providing targeted occupational therapy interventions Qualifications and Experience: Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license Experience working as an OT within school settings, ideally K-12 Proven ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple locations Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and other professionals Familiarity with Autism spectrum disorders and related intervention strategies is a plus Location and Duration: Position is located in Los Lunas, NM within a K-12 educational environment Contract duration is from ASAP through May 29, 2026 This role requires a dedicated professional prepared to support a diverse student population with direct interventions and consultative services.
