required (medical and religious exemptions accepted) Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in
correctional care. The nurse will primarily cover the Addictions
Medicine department. The role involves overseeing Suboxone and
detox medication administration. Responsibilities include
conducting assessments and treatments for patients undergoing
substance withdrawal. Monitoring patients during the induction
process for substance abuse treatments is essential. The facility
has a patient ratio of 1:50 for Suboxone administration and 1:40
for detox, which may vary. Experience with substance withdrawal
protocols is preferred. Correctional nursing experience is required
for this role. Clinical duties may also include dealing with
patients with opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder. The
nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary support team. Personal
transportation is required for this position. Candidates must pass
a facility background check. Travelers must adhere to compliance
requirements throughout the assignment. Drug screenings are
mandatory within the initial 30 days of employment. Travelers are
not permitted to request time off during the first 7 days of the
contract or on the last day. Only one holiday bundle time off
request is preferred. All candidates are encouraged to cut their
time off requests down to 7 days or less. Requirements Required for
