We are looking for experienced providers to deliver crucial Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across New Mexico. This opportunity offers the flexibility to work PRN, with options for half-day or full-day assignments tailored to your availability, all while supporting our nation's Veterans. In this role, you will conduct interview-based evaluations, perform basic physical assessments, and contribute to the health and well-being of veterans. Your expertise helps ensure their benefits and health status are accurately assessed. The position is ideal for clinicians with a background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or those experienced in compensation and pension evaluations. Required Skills: Medical license in good standing for New Mexico Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine Ability to perform interview-based assessments and basic physical evaluations Strong communication skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently in your own office Must have your own office within a 50-mile radius of the specified locations Nice to Have Skills: Experience with compensation and pension assessments Familiarity with veteran healthcare procedures Certification in medical evaluation or related fields Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Current medical licensure in New Mexico Prior experience performing Compensation & Pension exams or similar evaluations Experience working independently in a clinical setting Other Requirements: Own office within the specified geographic areas (Silver City, Deming, Hobbs, Grants, NM) Willingness to work PRN, with flexible scheduling options Valid certification and licensure, with ability to complete quick credentialing and onboarding Local candidates preferred; travel included in rates, so no reimbursement for additional travel expenses This rewarding opportunity offers competitive pay at $624.00 per hour, with flat rates of $800 for half-day (4 hours or less) and $1,600 for full-day (5 hours) shifts.
