Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care on
temporary assignments at healthcare facilities experiencing
staffing needs. The Travel RN adapts quickly to new clinical
environments, delivers safe and effective nursing care, and
collaborates with interdisciplinary teams while maintaining
compliance with facility policies and professional nursing
standards. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care
according to established nursing standards and facility protocols
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Administer
medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed Monitor
patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes or
emergencies Document patient care accurately in electronic medical
records (EMR) Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other
healthcare professionals Educate patients and families on health
conditions, treatments, and discharge plans Maintain patient
safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance Adapt quickly
to new facilities, workflows, and clinical teams Uphold ethical and
professional nursing standards at all times Job Requirements
Education & Licensure Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing
(RN) program Current, unrestricted RN license (compact/multi-state
license preferred) Ability to obtain state licensure for assignment
locations as needed Experience Minimum of 1–2 years recent clinical
experience in specialty area Previous travel nursing experience
preferred but not required Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS)
required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS), or specialty certifications as required by
assignment Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and
critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and adapt
quickly to new environments Excellent communication and teamwork
skills Proficiency with electronic medical record systems Strong
time-management and organizational skills Cultural competence and
professionalism Physical & Travel Requirements Ability to stand,
walk, lift, and assist patients throughout shifts Willingness to
travel and work in various geographic locations Flexibility to work
