contract nurse Correctional for a local contract nursing job in
Herlong, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Correctional - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration:
26 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment
Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse Federal Correctional
Institution Herlong Herlong, California Pay $55 to $65 per hour
Weekly pay Full time contract Schedule 40 hours per week Day shift
6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday No
nights No call Contract Long term federal contract On site Health
Services Department Duties Provide direct patient care in a
correctional health setting Conduct sick call and daily clinic
operations Administer medications and injections Perform
venipuncture and EKGs Respond to medical emergencies Assist with
MAT program services Document care in electronic medical records
Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff Follow BOP and AAAHC
standards Maintain infection control and safety procedures
Requirements Active RN license in California or compact with CA
eligibility Minimum three years RN experience BLS required Ability
to pass federal background and security clearance Comfortable
working in a correctional environment Professional demeanor and
strong clinical judgment Location FCI Herlong Herlong, CA 96113
Position Two full time Registered Nurses Immediate need Stable
daytime schedule Competitive federal contract pay
