Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Los Alamos, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,286 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days with some call on nights and weekends Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Prior PACU experience Description: Join a major healthcare provider in a dynamic PACU environment. This position is located in a 47-bed acute care facility. The role involves caring for adult patients, with a focus on post-anesthesia recovery. The ideal candidate will provide care for a variety of procedures including appendectomies and gallbladder surgeries. Patient ratios range from 1:1 or 1:2 to ensure high-quality care. The facility utilizes electronic health records for efficient patient management. The pre-op and PACU team works collaboratively, with no expectations to float to other areas. Candidates should have a strong background in PACU and a willingness to support pre-op functions as needed. Dress code includes scrubs, with restrictions on open-toed shoes and fake fingernails.
