Job Description Licensed Psychologist needed for a part-time or full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity with Yoh’s non-profit client located in San Jose, CA. We have multiple openings available with a choice of part-time or full-time hours Work at a company that is committed to specializing in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (and their families). Provide psychological assessments, behavioral consultations, and clinical support as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. Top Skills You Should Possess: Active Psychologist license in state of California At least two years of experience with developmental disabilities or behavioral health Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills Knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, and materials of psychology in serving the developmentally disabled What You’ll Be Doing: Evaluate cognitive and adaptive functioning, develop behavior support plans, and offer guidance to clients, families, and staff to promote independence and quality of life Assist in matters related to psychology, specifically to the provision of comprehensive services to people with developmental disabilities Participate as teacher/consultant to personnel involved in the development and delivery of services to people with developmental disabilities Assist in the development of new programs where need arises and in the ongoing evaluation of programs for the developmentally disabled within the region Perform other related duties as assigned (ie conservatorship petitions and competency to stand trial evaluations, and diverse plans) What You Need to Bring to the Table: Ability to work 8am to 5pm shifts between Monday and Friday Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology Use of an automobile, possession of a valid driver's license, and automobile liability insurance for the minimum amount prescribed by law or the ability to provide independent transportation What’s In It For You?
