qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in California! About The
Position We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a
240-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity
begins on Sep 1, 2025, and involves day shifts from Monday to
Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. The role also requires availability for
weekend on-call duties via phone on a 1:3 rotational basis. The
ideal candidate should be well-versed in medical oncology with a
strong background in hematology. Job Details - Location: California
- Start Date: Sep 1, 2025 - LOA: 240 days - Provider Type Needed:
Hematology/Oncology Physician - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to
4 pm; on-call weekend duties 1:3 via phone Responsibilities and
Duties - Provide comprehensive care in hematology and oncology -
Manage outpatient clinical duties and participate in on-call
rotations - Ensure the highest standards of care in the diagnosis
and treatment of cancer and blood disorders - Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to tailor individualized treatment plans -
Utilize the Epic EMR system to document patient interactions and
treatment outcomes - Engage in continuous education and research
activities to stay abreast of advancements in the field Additional
Information - Must be board certified or board eligible in Medical
Oncology - Valid California medical license required - Strong
