Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 6 months required License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: ARRT R, BLS required Must-Have: COVID vaccination required, with religious and medical exemptions accepted upon completion of a designated exemption form signed by a provider. Weekend and call requirements are necessary, including weekday nights and full day weekends. No floating to sister facilities is required. Description: Position involves working in the field of Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and inventory, stocking supplies, and performing various procedures such as Adrenal Angiography, Aortography, and Chemoembolization. Technologist will perform chest tube placement, embolization, endograft placement, liver biopsy, and multiple types of angiography. Additional responsibilities include conducting thoracentesis, percutaneous procedures, and procedures like renal angiography and stent placements. Technologist will be expected to maintain sterile fields and follow isolation precautions. Participation in a Rapid Response Team may be required. Orientation will last 8 hours and is non-billable. The facility mandates a flu vaccine, with only medical or religious exemptions accepted. Travelers should be prepared for compliance requirements, including drug screens within the designated period after signing. RTO requests are limited and require approval.
