Job Description Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/27/2025 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer) Location: Albuquerque, NM Guaranteed Hours: 40/week Shift: 10-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Certifications & Licensure (Required): - ARDMS/RDCS with one of the following specialties: AE, FE, or PE OR - One CCI credential: RCS or RCCS - BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Health & Safety, or American Red Cross only) - Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound (echocardiograms) to assess heart structure, function, and blood flow. This includes image acquisition, measurements, and preliminary documentation to assist cardiologists in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. Echo Techs in this role are expected to grow their technical skills and gain independence in advanced procedures. - Essential Duties: - Independently perform routine echocardiograms for both inpatient and outpatient settings - Learn and progress towards independently performing Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo with guidance - Apply strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathophysiology, and ultrasound principles - Use independent judgment to determine need for enhanced imaging or bubble studies - Manage patient care during exams using sound clinical knowledge - Accurately document and charge procedures in the EHR and PACS - Submit studies for IAC case review with support from a mentor - Engage in professional development (seminars, workshops, literature) Job Summary: - Medicaid - Vision - Dental - 401K “We are an equal opportunity employer.
