TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124! Pay Information $2,306 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Two years current experience required in specialty; at least one 13-week previous travel assignment. License: State Nursing License (New Mexico or Compact) Certifications: - BLS certification - ACLS certification - PALS certification - Must pass basic cardiac arrhythmias testing during the first week of assignment. Must-Have: - Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
