Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description & Requirements/n /nRegistered Nurse – Pediatric - Travel - (Peds RN - Pedi RN)/n /nStartDate: 7/14/2025 /nAvailable Shifts: 12 D /nPay Rate: $1896.84 - $2090.39 /n /nJob Summary:/n-Will float to NICU, PICU, and Peds Heme/Onc./n-Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands./n-Ratios-1:3 or 1:4./n-Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift./n-Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients./n-Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses./n-Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team./n-Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care./n-Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy./n-Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care./n-Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel./n-Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards./n Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, Pedi Experience: 2 years Travel Experience: 1 assignment in General Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted) Certifications: BLS; PALS References: 1 Reference in entire work history Required Skills & Experience: -Two (2) years’ current experience required in a 15-plus bed NeoNat care unit required. -Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment./n Preferred Qualifications Preferred Skills & Experience: -Epic EMR experience preferred./n/n/n /nJob Benefits/n /nAt AMN Healthcare we take care of our travelers!
