Job Description:

*Clinical Magnet* (Part of ICON Medical) is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our partners full-time team in *Albuquerque, NM.**This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY*Key Responsibilities for the Physical Therapist:* Conduct clinical physical therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for participants.* Provide physical therapy treatment, including modality treatment, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training.* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate therapy plans into participants overall care.* Educate participants and caregivers on safety techniques, mobility enhancements, and use of durable medical equipment (DME).* Conduct home visits as necessary and document participant progress.* Work closely with nursing home and assisted living staff to assess and address participants' rehabilitation needs.* Order, maintain, and manage DME for participants.* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and staff training sessions.Key Requirements for the Physical Therapist:* Bachelors, Masters (MSPT), or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.* Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico.* Minimum one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.* Valid drivers license, personal transportation, and auto insurance as required by law.*Preferred Qualifications:** Two (2) years of experience as a practicing PT.* Experience in geriatric rehabilitation or skilled nursing facilities.* Bilingual proficiency is a plus.*Compensation and Schedule for the Physical Therapist:** Competitive pay: $46.00 - $55.00/hr (dependent on experience).* Full-time, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.* Opportunity to work in an innovative and supportive healthcare environment.*Keywords:* physical therapy, PT, DPT, MSPT, geriatrics, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, SNF, long-term care, LTC, outpatient therapy, inpatient therapy, functional mobility, senior care, health and wellness, balance training, therapy interventions, Albuquerque, NM, direct hire, full-time, interdisciplinary team, treatment plans, patient care, home health, orthopedic rehab, neurological rehab, strength training, assisted livingJob Type: Full-timePay: $46.00 - $56.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* Geriatrics* Physical & Rehabilitation MedicineSchedule:* 5x8* Day shift* Monday to FridayLicense/Certification:* Physical Therapy License (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Albuquerque, NM 87102 (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
