• BLS required.
• PALS, NRP, and ACLS preferred.
• Certifications must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

  • Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
  • Candidates should be aware of their submission to our facility.
  • Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
  • 2 years experience current required, provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

    • Active NM or compact license required.
    • At least two references required, one must be from current manager.
    • Completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts.
      • On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed. May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
      • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
      • Orientation during 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The unit requires providers to be flexible and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
