  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS

  • Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval
  • Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved
  • When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment
  • 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in large OR
  • Ortho, ENT and/or vascular experience a plus
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment

      • Schedule Information
      • 8 hour varied shift position
      • Shift start time - 0630, may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
      • On call for weekends and holidays as needed
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
      • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts
      • ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training
        • Additional Details
        • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position
        • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice
        • The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico
        • ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues)
