Job Description:

The Santa Fe Recovery Center (SFRC), is seeking to hire a qualified Nurse Practitioner to provide Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services for clients needing medical detox, maintenance and or MATS. We are a Non-Profit, behavioral health agency working with diverse groups with traditional and cultural awareness and sensitivity. Our program offers continuum of care for Detox, 30-day Residential for Men, Women and Women with Children ages 0-6 years of age, 90-day Residential, Recovery Housing, Outpatient (IOP & ROP), and a MATS program. We provide wrap around services to all clients and prepare them for discharge to either another residential service, outpatient, safe housing and or transportation to a safe environment.

Under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director, the Nurse Practitioner performs medical assessment of patients and prescribes or adjusts medications as indicated. Evaluation, management, and prescribing services are rendered on-site at facilities. On-call is required under the direction of medical and executive management. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with nursing and medical technician staff to facilitate admission, treatment, and successful discharge of patients with co-occurring and substance use disorders. Additional duties may include but not limited to coordination of care with referral sources as well as educational support and interdisciplinary treatment consultation with patients, family members, caregivers, and staff.Minimum Requirements:1. Current New Mexico CNP License, required.
2. Possess current DEA and NM-CSR licenses; preference given to individuals with DEA-X (or eligible for DATA 2000 waiver).
3. Minimum 3 years of experience working with co-occurring disorders, preferred.
4. Minimum 5 years of uninterrupted abstinence from substances for persons in recovery, required.
5. Must have and maintain valid New Mexico driver's license.
6. Bi-lingual/bi-cultural (English/Spanish) preferred.
